My lil dog pork Chop has B.O. i wash Him once a week.?

And now he has a skin rash. I have shampoo from the vet for his skin and it helps the rash but not the stink!!!!

I feel bad for him but he always smells like fritos.. And so does my carpet if i dont fabreez it ALOT!!

HELP|||He is getting a bath far too much, but I understand you're trying to get rid of the smell. They should never ever be washed more often that once every two weeks,,,,it would be even better if it was once a month....for the smell,,,,Dogs can get a yeast infection on their skin, in their ears,and/or on their feet. It has a horrible smell. Most vets notice this right off, and treat for yeast. If the yeast isn't stopped, it can turn into a bacterial infection, that is even stinkier and harder to clear up. When you wash too often, it takes away the natural oils and good bacteria from the skin, and can allow yeast to run rampant. They need these oils and good bacteria to keep the skin healthy. Talk to your vet about the stink, and ask about skin fungus and/or infection. If they want to blow it off and not pay attention to you, see another vet. Smelly ears are infection and/or yeast....smelly feet are fungus and/or skin infection,,,smelly skin (even after a bath) is fungus, yeast and/or skin infection. Super smelly mouth is a rotten tooth, or abscessed tooth. Go back to the vet armed with this info and these questions, if you don't get relief for your dog,,,, go to another vet.|||try changing his diet-that may help-by this I mean a different type/brand of dog food|||First of all doggie paws smell like fritos!!! Get used to it! Second, washing fido once a week is HORRIBLE for his skin...

So now you don't only smell frito paws but you also smell wet dog on your carpet! That is a yucky combination... So try washing him once a month (if you must)... keep him brushed and well groomed, make sure his ears are free and clear of any dirt or oil (dirty ears can smell BAD). Also make sure he has nice breath (fruit based treats with apples or berries work wonders for that).

dogs smell like... well... dogs...|||aww sorry for that frtos smell (hehe) wats B.O. ??? u should only wash him once a month! dont u know????|||Again, corn smell is either fungal infection or pseudomonas infection -- both a huge problem. If the shampoo isn't eliminating the problem fairly fast, he needs to go back to the vet or you need to locate a dermatologist vet specialist and have the dog properly treated. Good luck...|||it sounds like your dog has very bad sickness if he starts peeing blood i would consider putting him down because it can make the people in your home sick if he starts peeing blood
