Gastric Bypass........Excess skin hanging, what to do?

worth 10 points.......

I had this surgery done in 2001. I lost almost 200 lbs. i am very happy now.

There is only one problem. I have alot of excess skin hanging. My health coverage covers the bypass but not the skin hanging. What do i do. I have alot of trouble walking and i get rashes sometimes.

My coverage is Americhoice, Medicaid, and Medicare.

What can i do to have the full body lift. Any advice will help|||You have to get your insurance company to believe that having this excess skin is more than just bothersome.

If you get rashes, take pictures of it and send it in. Make appointments with your insurance and push for it. Also talk to your surgeon and ask for his medical opinion on what to do.|||You will have to see a plastic/cosmetic surgeon.

Insurance will not cover skin removal unless the surgeon tells the insurance company that there is a medical reason it needs to be removed.....like the rashes.|||search for a plastic surgeon that offers a payment plan. thats the only way|||have a full body lift outside the U.S.|||More surgery is your only option. You are not getting enough nutrition to benefit from exercise.|||There are actually exercises you can do to firm up the sagging skin. My neighbor went on a diet, lost 60 pounds in two months. She exercised very regular, even more than usual. she looks great. She still has some loose skin, but she is a real trooper, and staying after it. It will take time, main thing is , do not stop until the skin is tighter. Good luck to you, and congrads on the weight loss.|||get ppl to donate get promoted at work er try Ebay

raise $$$ i really hope u can raise $$$$ cus i no extra skin isnt fun...
